Mitt: We'll Lie Our Way In

Ah yes, I love when the Romney family speaks.
Two points that jump out — Ann Romney, who also spoke, thought HIlary Rosen’s comment were … well, awesome. “It was my early birthday present for someone to be critical of me as a mother, and that was really a defining moment, and I loved it.”
Romney talked about what government departments he might eliminate and expanded on his possible tax policies. But what stands out to me most is his explicit statement of what seems to be his campaign strategy — remaining as vague as possible about what policies he’ll actually pursue. “I’m going to take a lot of departments in Washington, and agencies, and combine them. Some eliminate, but I’m probably not going to lay out just exactly which ones are going to go.”
Ok, so Ann Romney admits that she's "hamming it up" on this motherhood thing, and that she's trying to play for some polling points. Mitt on the other hand basically says he's running to go radically alter the government, and go back to the deregulation direction presumably, but he's not going to ever admit which ones during the election, because he knows if he does admit anything, he loses. No one will buy his vision for the country if he lays it out honestly. He's basically going to hope that unhappy feelings in the country beat the incumbent on their own, and lie his way into the White House.

I already thought the Romneys were pretty bad. This is just further confirmation.
